The Pains of Being Pure at Heart — “Young Adult Friction”
Catchy, jangly 80’s-style indie pop. Worth a spin, though I don’t like it as much as Pfork does.
“Andrew” by Crystal Antlers
This is the lead single from the band’s full-length debut. They seem to have lost a bit of the overkill that was the star of their self-titled EP from last year. If you like psychedelic-infused noisy rock, give it a listen.
